Description

This is the official Primary 4 IRS Schemes of Works for Nigerian Primary Schools. This scheme is based on the latest National Curriculum by NERDC.

Islamic Religious Studies was initially a sub-subject under Religious and National Values (RNV) in the new National Curriculum. But following a protest in 2016 & 2017; the National Education Council directed that Religious Studies be made independent subjects. Hence, IRS is an independent and core subject of Basic Education in Nigeria. Schools teach IRS using this scheme or others drawn in line with this.

CONTENTS
This IRS Teaching Scheme for Primary Four contains all the topics for the three terms in Primary 4. Topics are professionally divided into weeks.
