Description
This is the official Teaching Schemes of Works for Nigerian Junior Secondary Schools Three. This scheme is based on the latest National Curriculum by NERDC.
CONTENTS
As provided in the new National Curriculum, this scheme contains all the 10 maximum number of composite subjects for Junior Secondary Schools. The ten composite subjects which are all included in this scheme are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Basic Science & Technology (BST)
- Cultural & Creative Arts (CCA)
- Religious and National Values (RNV)
- Prevocational Studies
- French
- Business Studies
- Nigerian Languages
- Arabic Language
These 10 composite subjects are further broken down into 19 as follows:

Basic Science & Technology (BST)
6. Basic Science
7. Basic Technology
8. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
9. Physical & Health Education (PHE)
Prevocational Studies
10. Agriculture
11. Home Economics
12. Entrepreneurship
Religious and National Values (RNV)
13. Civic Education
14. Christian Religious Studies
15. Islamic Religious Studies
16. Security Education
17. Cultural & Creative Arts (CCA)
18. Business Studies
19. Arabic Language
All these subjects are included in this Unified Teaching Scheme for Junior Secondary Schools Three (JSS3). For each subject, all the topics for first, second and third term are included according to the weeks.
